Welcome! My name is Stacey Wheal and this is my portfolio page. Below you will find examples of my work.

I am a recent graduate of The University of Western Ontario Media Studies Master of Arts program.  My thesis, What Light Through Yonder Window Breaks?, explores connections between youth, literacy and convergent media. In 2007 I graduated "summa cum laude" from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Multimedia. I am currently pursuing career opportunities in the field of communications.

I collaborated with Dr. Peter Cockett to create an extensive online resource including teaching modules and video archives. (Videos are password protected because of ACTRA performance policies. This registered Canadian charity needed a website to promote its services.  As a contract designer for Fullerworks in St. Marys, Ontario, I created a website that incorporated the organization’s existing brand.

Stonetown Travel Ltd.

The owner of this retail travel agency wanted an online presence to promote her business. I designed and coded a new website integrating Travelsaver's SoftVoyage booking engine.
